LGS Coyotes Youth Spring Hockey

  • Based in the Greater Vancouver area, the LGS Coyotes Spring Hockey program is built to help youth players learn hockey skills, knowledge, tactics and strategies that are sometimes forgotten in youth hockey curriculum.
  • U13 (2013 & 2014 birth years) Teams for 2025 Season.
  • Program runs from April – June.
  • Open to both Rec & Rep level players looking to take next step in hockey development.
  • Experienced LGS coaches work with players in ratios of 6-8:1 for individual skill development
  • Our coaches focus on catching players doing things right to facilitate positive reinforcement.
  • We value FUN and learning above all else!

Program Outline

  • 1 x 2 hour on-ice practice time each week (to reduce commute times and free up schedules) (Richmond Olympic Oval).
  • Weekend games in YHL. Here for more info on YHL.
  • 1-2 Tournaments per season.
  • Full access to How to Play Hockey curriculum.
  • Game & Practice Jerseys included in registration.
  • Additional team merch available.

Founder of Leslie Global Sports. Certified Executive Coach (PCC, CEC, M.Ed.). Educator. Leadership Trainer. Former Professional Hockey Player.  Responsible for vision, philosophy, strategy, & coach development at LGS.

Bryant Hsiao

Lead Coach / Program Coordinator

Skills Development Coach. Current player of Chinese Taipei’s Men’s National Team (Taiwan), IIHF DIV II.  Former player in Sweden’s HockeyTvåan (Div II) and HockeyTrean (Div III) leagues. Patient, calm, and skilled player capable of breaking skills down into smaller segments for players to learn. Fluent in Mandarin and English.

Ryan Page

Lead Coach

Longtime LGS athlete turned coach. Current Head Coach of North Vancouver U13A and Lead Coach of Richmond Oval Hockey Club. Strong passion for teaching the game and building strong relationships with athletes.

Andrew Seppanen

Coach

A native of Campbell River, BC, Andrew brings 15+ years of hockey coaching experience. Current Head Coach at South Delta U15A. Former Head Coach and GM of the Mackenzie Mountaineers Junior A Hockey Club.

Alex Stephens

Coach

LGS athlete turned coach. Former player in the BCEHL U18 AAA (Greater Vancouver Canadians) and CSSHL U18 Prep (St. George’s). Patient and calm coach who is great working with young players on various skillsets.

Jenn Gardiner

Coach

Current PWHL player for Victoire de Montreal, Jenn is a highly accomplished player with 2 x NCAA Div I National Champion and served as Captain at Ohio State. U18 Team Canada Gold Medalist. NCAA 2nd Team All American. NCAA Player of the Year Finalist. Graduate Degree in Sports Management. LGS Athlete and Intern.
