At Leslie Global Sports we are proud of our ability to run effective and fun hockey practices. One of the best ways to isolate specific hockey skating and puck skills is to use skill stations. It’s also a great way to keep all players and coaches involved. We typically run practice in a similar format each day but the drills are often changing according to our hockey drills curriculum we have designed. This short video shows an example of our hockey practice plans we have downloadable as PDF’s as well as the Hockey Drills App on iPhone and soon to be released on Android. The bottom line is that hockey coaches need a balance in hockey practice of hockey skating drills, puck skill drills, team tactic drills, and small area games.
