Here we learn how to take a one timer, the shot that can make you look like a hero or … yes, a zero. Before “Strike one” is called, let’s look at the key points that make this shot a success.

How to Take a One-Timer

 

In this drill, Trevor is taking a “one timer”. He is going to make sure he comes down hard on the ice, the stick building a roof over top of the puck. I’m making hard impact with the ice off the stick, was able to flex and the puck explodes off his stick.
