It’s been a strange journey for our daughter. She is now playing USports! With all the teams she has made, not made but she has quietly persevered and a lot of it has been through your group with help from Ben and Rick. So I wish to extend a thank you. I remember her disappointment being cut from the boys rep team in Bantam and how you got her into your development at the oval and she was exposed to all those great comets players. The only experience I regret she didn’t get is your New Zealand trip! I hope that in the years to come she will be able to do that maybe as a coach.

Recreational & High Performance Hockey Development

The Richmond Oval Hockey Program is our contribution to youth hockey in the Metro Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. Always striving to challenge the status quo, Leslie Global Sports is proud to offer comprehensive, professional hockey programs for every level.

Hockey Development Programs

We cater to teams, private training groups, and individuals. Programs run in the fall, winter, spring and summer, although we don’t recommend you do all 4. Athletes benefit from a balance of other sports and interests, according to nearly every study published, and the Long Term Athlete Development Model. Offering world class hockey training means we know how to adapt to the needs of every individual player. Low player to coach ratios give you the best coaching service possible. Kids need to love training. We make sure they love coming to the rink, and are invigorated when they leave. Advanced hockey skills & fitness training. We are development focused, not WIN focused. Advanced skating techniques, puck control skills, game situation and position specific offensive skills, Compete/Battle Drills. World class coaching. Player to Coach Ratio: 6-8 to 1.

Are you new to the game, playing at a recreational level, or looking for a community based hockey program? Our flexible community hockey programs welcome 5-10 year old players. Programs include: U9,U11 and Tots (for players new to hockey).
