Dear Mr Fassbender and Ms Clark,
I’m from a family of teachers (combined 48 years experience), have a Master Degree in International Education, and run a youth hockey development company in Vancouver. I’m writing today in support of both teachers and students. To me and my family, choosing not to meet the terms put forth by the BCTF is like waging war on society, and choosing not to have a medical system in place to deal with the inevitable casualties. It is so obvious to anyone who has ever received truly quality care, that education is an essential service currently being left to fight its own battles, and losing. It’s being treated like an old historic building being left to fall to pieces, rather than preserved, upgraded, and cherished. Save the education system, it’s children, and it’s teachers by investing what is needed, and what was promised years ago and never delivered.
Sincerely, Nate Leslie www.lgsports.ca www.howtoplayhockey.ca www.prepcamp.com www.lesliegloballeadership.ca
